The Pieces of Your Identity

This image is a map of human identity—a visual model showing how our inner world is structured and how we express ourselves in life.

At the center is Back to the Present, which represents presence—the ability to be aware of what we are doing, feeling, and thinking in the moment. Everything in the model either pulls us away from or brings us back to this center.

1. Our Three Core Gifts (Outer Ring)

The outer circle defines the three fundamental dimensions of being human:

  • Physical (Id) → the world of action and survival

  • Emotional (Ego) → the world of feelings and relationships

  • Spiritual (Superego) → the world of thought and meaning

These are the three ways we experience life—doing, feeling, and thinking.

2. Sources of Knowledge (Middle Ring)

Inside that, the model shows how we learn and make sense of the world:

  • Instinct → automatic, survival-based responses (linked to the physical/id)

  • Intellect → learned reasoning and logic (linked to the emotional/ego)

  • Intuition → deeper wisdom and moral awareness (linked to the spiritual/superego)

These sources guide our decisions, but they don’t all lead to the same outcomes—instinct reacts, intellect analyzes, intuition understands.

3. Intuitive vs. Intellectual Expression

The diagram splits human expression into two major pathways:

Intuitive Path (Right Side)

Driven by intuition and expressed through:

  • Social (communication)

  • Nurturing (sacrifice)

  • Spiritual (faith)

  • Emotional (empathy)

These represent how we connect, love, and create meaning. This side leads toward alignment, relationships, and deeper fulfillment.

Intellectual Path (Left Side)

Driven by intellect and expressed through:

  • Physical

  • Artistic

  • Cognitive

  • Mechanical

These represent skills, abilities, and problem-solving. This side builds the external world—innovation, productivity, and capability.

4. Intuitive Identity (Inner Ring)

At the core of how we live is our Intuitive Identity, made up of:

  • Emotions

  • Behaviors

  • Responses

This is what people actually experience from us. It reflects how well we are aligning our knowledge with our values.

5. Integrated Human Expression (Center Star)

The center star shows how everything blends together:

  • Each direction combines a gift (physical, emotional, spiritual) with a mode of expression (social, cognitive, artistic, etc.).

  • This creates a fully integrated human being who can act, feel, and think in balance.

When aligned, these expressions bring us back to presence.

What the Whole Image Represents

This is not just a diagram—it’s a system of awareness.

It shows that:

  • Human identity is built from the interaction of actions, feelings, and thoughts

  • We operate through layered systems: instinct → intellect → intuition

  • We express ourselves through both intellectual abilities and intuitive qualities

  • Our true experience of life depends on how well these are aligned

When everything is in balance, we return to the center—the present moment—where clarity, connection, and purpose exist.

The Core Message

You’re not just a thinker or a feeler or a doer—you are all three, constantly interacting.

This model is teaching one central truth:

Your quality of life depends on how consciously you integrate your actions, feelings, and thoughts—using both your intellect and your intuition—to stay present and live intentionally.
